FARIDA GABDRAKHMANOVA
Farida is an Orange County based designer with a very unique background. With a lifelong passion for the arts, architecture and design, she made a big career change moving from the fundamental research science to design to pursue her artistic calling. After working as a graphic and interior designer in Moscow, Russia, she moved to California in 2004 and began working at CSMD, a boutique design firm catering to high-end residential projects. Trained at the prestigious Russian technological school, a researcher with a Master’s degree in Physics and Applied Math, she expanded her education at Cal Poly Pomona/ UCLA Extension, adding the second Master’s degree in Interior Architecture. Farida also runs her own design consulting business. Her experience has given her the opportunity to work in collaboration with many talented interior and graphic designers, stylists, photographers, and other design professionals. In addition to her design practice, Farida has been teaching various interior design and computer courses in Saddleback College Interior Design department.
